Now semi-retired, George continues to serve as the Lead Consultant for The Safety Company Limited, offering his invaluable expertise and guidance. Managing Director

Lisa has been the Managing Director since 2022, bringing nearly a decade of dedicated service to the company. She joined the organization in 2013, coming from a background in software technology and human resources with a passion to support and drive the company forward.

Lisa is the first point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth and efficient office-based operations. Her hands-on approach and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in building a cohesive and dedicated team that consistently meets the needs of the business.

Chris joined The Safety Company Limited in December 2014, bringing with him a wealth of experience following a distinguished 25-year career in the Army. With a solid foundation in engineering, Chris has worked in both practical and health and safety roles throughout his various positions, ranging from shop floor mechanic to production manager.

Since joining the company, Chris has leveraged his extensive background to enhance workplace safety and compliance. His commitment and excellence combined with his hands-on experience in health and safety, makes him a vital asset to the team.

As a Graduate Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (Grad IOSH), Chris is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and continually advancing his professional knowledge. His military background instills a strong sense of discipline and dedication, which he applies to his role as a Senior Safety Consultant.

The Safety Company Limited was established in September 1993 by Director George Morris. George has been specifically involved in health and safety since 1988. Following his early career in the Royal Navy, he spent 14 years in Production and Safety Management within subsidiaries of ICI before setting up his own business.

Based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, The Safety Company Limited provides personalised health and safety consultancy and support services to businesses large and small, from international to local, across the UK. Satisfied clients are from a wide cross section of industry and commerce and range from those involved in construction, engineering, manufacturing, food processing and farming to solicitors, cleaners and computer specialists. The Safety Company Limited is proud to have established a reputation for its flexibility in delivering an excellent, bespoke service to all its clients, from companies with less than five employees to multi-site companies with hundreds of employees.

The Safety Company Limited is registered by the Health and Safety Executive as an Occupational Health and Safety Consultancy and is a member of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. Additionally, George and individuals within his team of qualified health and safety consultants are members of the British Safety Council, International Institute of Risk and Safety Management, Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, British Institute of Management.
